LEaF’s COVID Language Hub covered in the local press

The COVID pandemic has changed almost every aspect of our lives and language is no different. As a translation company that understands the importance of accurate communication between cultures, we felt duty-bound to help both local businesses in the tourism sector and British holidaymakers looking to travel abroad deal with the new language that has become part of our everyday lives since early 2020.

And so, we produced the COVID Language Hub: a free online resource containing glossaries of key COVID-related, as well as free printables for hotels and restaurants to hand out to foreign guests and for British holidaymakers to print out and take with them on their trips overseas.

LEaF Translations COVID Language Hub

The COVID Language Hub covers seven different languages – French, Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, German, Japanese and Chinese – alongside COVID phrases for business travellers – and has been extremely well-received, with LEaF’s local paper, the York Press, covering the story back in May.
