Welcome to LEaF.
We are very glad you popped by.

We are a small, friendly boutique translation company, offering excellent German to English translations.

Our focus is on quality: Our translations are not just accurate – they are so well written that you would never know that they were originally written in German.

Lucy Pembayun founded LEaF Translations in 2017, with the aim of offering an alternative to the large translation agencies that dominate the translation industry. Instead of focusing on covering as many languages as possible through a global network of translators, LEaF takes things back to basics.

We work in just one language combination and we never outsource our translations. This means that we can guarantee the quality of the service we provide, and that we are real experts in our field. Whereas large agencies seek to win contracts by claiming to be experts in every sector (and then often farm out the work to the cheapest freelancer they can find); here at LEaF, we know where our strengths lie.

We provide German to English translations in the fields of:

Advertising & PR
Marketing
Tourism
Website localisation

We are an ethical business. We charge a fair price and we pay our employees a fair wage. We have no intention of expanding for expansion’s sake. Our ultimate aim is to create a core team of experts in our field – people who share a love of writing with a passion for language, an excellent command of German, and, perhaps most importantly, real skill when it comes to translating.

We cannot wait to begin the journey.
We hope that you will join us for the ride.
