Kitty Trewhitt is a trainee translator and marketing assistant at LEaF Translations. She is currently completing a Masters in Applied Translation Studies at the University of Leeds after having graduated from the University of York in French and Italian. She hopes to begin her career as a translator in the near future, in the meantime she is building up her experience by completing translations and proofreading tasks at LEaF Translations, assisting with project management, and volunteering to translate for Translators Without Borders. She also creates LEaF’s monthly newsletter and has helped to build up their Instagram page. Alongside her studies and work at LEaF, she takes part in many extra-curricular activities such as competitive cheerleading, standup paddleboarding and skiing.
