Angela Bray is our Business Development expert, and long-time university friend of our founder, Lucy. She has over 20 years’ experience in international sales and business development, and complements our team with her enthusiasm, drive and passion for building strong relationships. Passionate about languages and communication, Angela is fluent in French and German
and brings a refreshing outlook to our team. Her favourite place is out talking to people, so you’re most likely to see her at client meetings and building connections at networking
events and conferences.
BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Angela studied French and German at Edinburgh University. Her passion and expertise is working with people and this is demonstrated through her first job after university – working for Pernod Richard in Switzerland. Her role as whisky ambassador enabled her to make full use of her fluency in French and German, whilst integrating professionally into the Swiss culture and way of life. This opportunity started her career in sales and marketing, developing into a long-standing career in international sales. She has worked for major companies within the food and drinks industry, securing significant contracts over the years
with key retailers such as Aldi/Hofer and REWE in Germany and Central Europe.
Following redundancy in 2022, Angela pivoted and set up her own consultancy, helping clients to grow their business using her business development expertise.
LEaF is moving into a new ambitious period of growth and Lucy invited Angela to be part of this journey in late 2024. Today, Lucy and Angela reunite in a business capacity to grow LEaF as the go-to SEO translation agency in the UK; an ethical, sustainable business, with trust and care at the core. Every client is valued and we drive the business with the key aim of helping our clients share their strong brand values with the world.
Outside of work, Angela loves trail running in Yorkshire and beyond. She recently completed a 19 mile run and has ambitions to do an ultra-marathon!
